Vittoria Notarbartolo di Villarosa nasce a Roma nel 1995 e sviluppa una ricerca scultorea centrata sulla rappresentazione del mondo animale come linguaggio espressivo primario.
Attraverso l’argilla e una pratica interamente manuale, costruisce forme in cui lo sguardo e la tensione del corpo diventano elementi centrali. Le sue opere indagano una comunicazione non verbale, diretta e non mediata, in cui la materia restituisce presenza, istinto e autenticità.
Vittoria Notarbartolo di Villarosa was born in Rome in 1995, and develops a sculptural research focused on the representation of the animal world as a primary expressive language.
Through clay and an entirely manual practice, she constructs forms in which the gaze and the tension of the body become central elements. Her works explore a nonverbal, direct and unmediated communication, in which the material conveys presence, instinct, and authenticity.

Cavallo – Gypsy Vanner
Scultura in argilla scolpita e dipinta a mano, il cavallo incarna una tensione sospesa tra forza e scelta. Potrebbe fuggire, ma resta. Il corpo è carico di energia, pronto al movimento, mentre lo sguardo afferma presenza e consapevolezza. L’opera riflette un equilibrio raro, quello tra libertà e relazione, dove la vicinanza non è vincolo ma atto volontario, fondato sulla fiducia.

A hand-sculpted and hand-painted clay sculpture, the horse embodies a tension suspended between strength and choice. It could flee, but it remains. The body is charged with energy, ready to move, while the gaze asserts presence and awareness. The work reflects a rare balance, that between freedom and connection, where closeness is not a constraint but a voluntary act, founded on trust.
