Massimo Caso

Il lavoro di Massimo Caso, (Roma,1968), nasce dall’introspezione, che artista autodidatta, ha sentito l’esigenza di far emergere le sue emozioni attraverso la pittura. Le sue tele ci pongono davanti ad un paradosso percettivo: possono apparire come dei muri feriti dal tempo, ed indurci a chiuderci in un immobile suggestione fatta di silenzio, isolamento e solitudine; oppure possono, all’esatto contrario, apparirci come paesaggi, ampi spazi aperti dove si possono riconoscere i mutevoli elementi della natura: cieli dominati da nuvole, luci, ombre e riflessi.

Massimo Caso’s (Rome, 1968) work is born from introspection. A self-taught artist, he felt the need to express his emotions through painting. His canvases present us with a perceptual paradox: they can appear like walls scarred by time, leading us to withdraw into a static atmosphere of silence, isolation, and solitude; or, conversely, they can appear to us as landscapes, wide open spaces where we can recognise the ever-changing elements of nature: skies dominated by clouds, light, shadows, and reflections.

Alchimia di Libertà: I quattro elementi dell’amore

In questa installazione, la materia si spoglia della forma per farsi respiro. L’artista mette in scena un dialogo primordiale dove i quattro elementi non sono semplici simboli naturali, ma diverse declinazioni di un unico sentire: l’amore come massima espressione di libertà. Dalle profondità terrose che danno radice al sentimento, al fuoco vibrante della passione che arde senza catene; dalle trasparenze dell’acqua che fluisce inafferrabile, alle rarefazioni dell’aria dove il pensiero si libera. Ogni terra è uno strato dell’anima, un frammento di un universo dive amare non significa possedere, ma esistere nell’altro rimanendo se stessi. Un’opera corale che invita a perdersi nelle texture e nei cromatismi per ritrovare, infine, l’essenza di un legame che, come gli elementi, è eterno, libero e necessario.

In this installation, matter strips itself of form to become breath. The artist stages a primordial dialogue where the four elements are not simple natural symbols, but different declinations of a single feeling: love as the ultimate expression of freedom. From the earthy depths that give root to feeling, to the vibrant fire of passion that burns unchained; from the transparency of water that flows elusively, to the rarefactions of air where thought is freed. Each earth is a layer of the soul, a fragment of a universe where love does not mean possessing, but existing in the other while remaining oneself. A choral work that invites us to lose ourselves in the textures and colorsu to ultimately rediscover the essence of a bond that, like the elements, is eternal, free, and necessary.
