Paolo Frattari
Paolo Frattari, (Cerveteri, 1963), As a child I played searching for treasures among ancient ruins. Now I carve wood in search of hidden treasures. I have combined my work as a sculptor with that of a cabinetmaker, thus making designer furniture. I teach sculpture and am editor of the print magazine LegnoLab. Over the years I have done solo and group exhibitions. I have participated in numerous competitions and symposia in Italy and abroad.

Confessional
Spruce wood installation 2x2x1m. Confessional is a hollow head with a seat inside. It is a material presence that embraces the confessor. In this embracing the confessor and the confessed merge and Confessional becomes a "self" that breaks down. Through small holes placed on the temple conscious and subconscious secretly tell each other their darkest sides.
