Ex voto nature

In the picturesque setting of Bracciano, Finnish artist Leena Knuuttila presents an evocative installation that blends oil paintings and sculptures in bronze, ceramic and marble, creating a profound dialogue between art and nature. The works represent a contemporary ex voto, standing as a tribute to the supreme forces, an invitation to reflect on the fragility of the environment around us and the urgency of preserving it, rediscovering the ancient respect of "pagan" religiosity for its immense potential. The relationship between man and the divine, spirituality and beliefs of an archaic nature, between the mythical and the mystical. An artistic expression that invites the viewer to confront the uncertainty of fate, renewing the alliance between man and nature.
