Alessandro Sansoni nasce a Roma il 6 Febbraio 1963. Al liceo ama l’ornato dei classici greci. Nei primi anni novanta si confronta con il linguaggio pubblicitario presso un’agenzia di pubblicità di cui in seguito diventerà socio. In quegli anni riprende a dipingere. Nel 1997 fa la prima mostra ed apre uno store di nome Roots, portando la cultura orientale nelle case di molti romani e non. Organizza mostre nello store Roots di artisti che hanno un’attinenza con l’arte orientale. Ma il richiamo del fare arte è forte. Nel 2003 si dedica totalmente alla pittura. Allo stesso tempo coltiva hobby quali il Counceling bioenergetico, l’approfondimento delle tecnologie atte ad essere un mezzo per l’arte: da qui sviluppa una tecnica mista fatta di fotografia, computer e pennello. Ragione e cuore. Crea la linea sottile e mai definita tra il figurativo e l’astratto, tra lo scatto fotografico e la pittura classica fatta di colore e pennello, tra il conscio e l’inconscio, tra il definito e l’indefinito. Vuole lasciare interdetto il fruitore delle sue opere, per far si che sia stimolato nel domandarsi la vera identità di ciò che osserva e di ciò che esiste dentro di sé. Alessandro Sansoni was born in Rome on February 6, 1963. In high school, he loved the ornateness of Greek classics. In the early 1990s, he explored the language of advertising at an agency he later became a partner at. During those years, he returned to painting. In 1997, he held his first exhibition and opened a store called Roots, bringing Eastern culture into the homes of many Romans and beyond. He organised exhibitions at the Roots store featuring artists connected to Eastern art. But the lure of creating art was strong. In 2003, he devoted himself entirely to painting. At the same time, he cultivated hobbies such as bioenergetic counseling and a study of technologies used as a medium for art. From there, he developed a mixed technique combining photography, computers, and paintbrushes. Reason and heart. He forges the thin, undefined line between the figurative and the abstract, between the photograph and classical painting made of paint and paintbrush, between the conscious and the unconscious, between the defined and the undefined. He aims to leave the viewer of his works speechless, to encourage them to question the true identity of what they observe and what exists within themselves. He exhibits in solo and group exhibitions in Italy and Europe.
