Nata a Roma nel 1945, si diploma in scenografia e, giovanissima, è assunta al Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, dove per 5 anni ha l’opportunità di collaborare con grandi registi e scenografi, tra i quali Luchino Visconti, Mauro Bolognini, Eduardo De Filippo. Nel 1972 si trasferisce in America dove rimane per due anni. Dal 1994 la sua forte passione per lo “Zen” la porta inevitabilmente in Giappone. Negli ultimi anni si dedica principalmente alla realizzazione di video e grandi installazioni, ponendo sempre più attenzione ai temi relativi al malessere sociale. Fa parte del gruppo artistico CO.A.LA. (Collettivo Artisti del Lago).

Inside or Outside
Inside or Outside, Dentro o Fuori, esprime non solo l’ansia e il conflitto fra queste due
realtà ma anche la difficoltà di distinguerle. Perché a volte incontrando una rete sul nostro percorso, può non essere facile capire bene da quale lato di essa ci troviamo. Sul tema proposto da BAW La libertà contiene l’amore, l’amore non contiene la libertà le due realtà dentro e fuori si insinuano anche nei percorsi amorosi, dove l’iniziale libertà di essere può scivolare nella privazione della stessa, come purtroppo oggi possiamo
constatare con il progressivo aumento dei Femminicidi.
Inside or Outside
Inside or Outside expresses not only the anxiety and conflict between the two realities but also the difficulty found in distinguishing them. As sometimes, when we encounter a net on our path, it can be difficult to understand which side of it we are on. On the theme proposed by BAW: Freedom contains love, love does not contain freedom, the two realities—inside and outside—also insinuate themselves into the journeys of love, where the initial freedom of being can slide into its deprivation, as we can unfortunately see today with the progressive increase in Femicides.
