MUDA Collective
The MUDA Collective is a Brazilian collective, MUDA experiences the city as a laboratory of transformation. MUDA was born out of a desire for change. Often associated with street art, its environmental interventions have truly altered the nature of Rio de Janeiro, where public spaces throughout the city are now often the stage for its manifestations. This art is focused primarily in experimentation with form, using traditional materials to create panels that with contemporary graphic compositions generate a geometric and abstract aesthetic Each intervention is 'site specific' MUDA seeks to interfere in the daily life of the city and its inhabitants, helping to highlight invisible spaces, making them more relevant. The ColetivoMUDA aims to provide a playful urban experience, as an element.

Alicatado #4
Variably sized panels composed of materials such as majolica tiles with a white background and painted with mineral ink, paint and colored papers. The result of this combination of modules are garishly colored geometries that reinterpret in a contemporary way the Portuguese tradition of azulejos, thin ceramic tiles that are glazed and then decorated.
