The fallen angel (Glares)
This is the second of the fallen angels I made. I wanted to combine the brilliance of metal with the opacity of wax that is used for death masks. I wanted to unite divine and mortal, lofty and low, superior and inferior. The duality good and evil becoming body and matter, so not abstract elements but heartbreak of the flesh. Wings to fly and a body that becomes earthy of its fate inhabited by death.
