Chiara Anaclio

Chiara Anaclio, (Bologna,1979), lives and works in Rome in her atelier-studio in the heart of Testaccio. Her artistic training and projects are transversal; she interprets and promotes creativity through art and communication projects that integrate painting, word, digital art, sound and illustration. Her artistic journey takes shape with numerous solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad. She was selected for the Street Art for Rights project creating a mural at the Casa Internazionale delle Donne and for art projects with social value, doing workshops and works in the Rebibbia prison and at therapeutic communities for adolescents, with the conviction that art is a vehicle for self-expression and growth.

Opera

Pink Pontormo. On the Cosmogony of Disorder.

It explores the entropic valence of the Cosmos. In the blossoming of images, of conflicts, of distortions of the real, in the boundary between real and virtual, Anaclio explores through a composition inspired by the "Deposition" of the Mannerist painter Pontormo, the symbolic passage from Renaissance perfection to the revolution of Mannerist painting where the road traveled was linked to the subversion of rule, color, form, in the only possibility of expressing one's own feeling.
